Colnago Road Bikes
We have a rare approach to selling bicycles at Lodi Bicycle Café. Your purchase of a new bike begins with a fitting assessment, either on your existing bike or on one of our shop models. We do this so that we can analyze your body measurements, existing position, riding style, riding goals, and budget in order to determine the optimal frame size, component composition, and wheels. You will receive several bike build options to choose from. Once you select your build, we order your bike.
When we receive your bike, we meticulously inspect the bike and all the components. First, we inspect the frame's alignment on our surface plate. Once we know the frame is true, we inspect every component before we install it. On average, we spend 4 hours building a new bike, 6 hours if we are also building wheels as well. While we have the skill to rush a build, we prefer not to.
For new bike purchases, the fitting is included in the price of the bike. We encourage new cyclists to return 90 days after the purchase for follow-up adjustments; experienced cyclists can come in as needed.
Colnago C59 Italia
Colnago's new top-of-the-range, custom-made 100% carbon-fibre racing machine, the C59 Italia, was four years in development. Designed, built and painted in Italy and with a frame weighing about one kilo, the Colnago C59 Italia features a classic Master-shaped internally ribbed top tube and down tube to maximize stiffness, which is further increased by square chainstays and seatstays.
Colnago M10
Colnago's new monocoque frame takes the technical advances seen in the highly popular CX-1 to a higher level. The new lamination technology and materials used in the manufacture of the M10 make it lighter than the CX-1 and stiffer laterally thanks to a bigger bottom bracket, but with a little more vertical absorption to provide more comfort without in any way sacrificing performance.
With the C-HS1 tapered headtube and a new fork to accommodate it, the Colnago M10 is designed to be precise on descents and smoother through corners. The M10's classic Colnago looks are complemented by internal brake cable routing for clean lines.
Colnago EPQ
The Colnago evolution continues with the redesign of their highly popular EPS frame set. The new EPQ is born with internal derailleur cables, the super stiff squared rear stays "Q-Stay" and is available in Di2 specific! The Colnago EPQ is the perfect balance between weight, strength, rigidity & comfort
Colnago CX-2.0
The CLX 2.0 has the same Colnago features as our top-of-the-range carbon frames, but comes at a more competitive price. It underlines how we apply cutting-edge technology to bicycles that are available to every kind of market.
Weighing just a little more than the CX-1, the Colgnago CLX 2.0 monocoque carbon frame offers superb performance, guaranteed by an alfa carbon one-piece front triangle. The main tubes, with stiffening ribs on the top tube and down tube, combined with carbon-fiber fork and leaf-shaped seatstays, provide lateral rigidity and improve road vibration absorption.
Colnago CX-1
The immensely popular CX-1 Evo carbon monocoque frame that has won stages at the Giro d'Italia and the Paris-Nice has a brand-new look for the upcoming season and, while retaining all its mechanical features, introduces internal cable routing for the rear brake.
Our pro teams have been blown away by the CX-1 Evo's quality and ride performance, combining the rigidity needed for maximum power transfer when sprinting or climbing with rock-steady handling.
At the heart of this winning combination is the CX-1 Evo's monocoque front triangle, which is molded in one piece, in our alfa carbon blend, combined with computer-designed polygonal cross-section tubes entirely designed with the aid of CAD and finite element analysis.
Available in eight sizes to ensure an exact fit, the Colnago CX-1 guarantees a thrill every time you ride.
Colnago Ace
Specifically designed to provide an easy ride for gran fondo riders and for those who are just starting to take their cycling seriously, the Ace provides a more upright and comfortable position than our standard geometries. The frame is monocoque and features round main tubes and square chainstays. The study of cross-sections, combined with a careful analysis of the layout of the fibers, has made it possible to maximize comfort without compromising lateral rigidity and riding pleasure.
